Connecting my White macbook to my Mitsubishi big screen tv. Tv is from around 1996?
I just got a mac book, and with it I bought the audio cords, and the Mini-DVI to Video Adapter from the apple store. I had to buy the actual s video cord separate, which I got at best buy. I have the audio plugged in and the s video in the s video spot. I can flip through the inputs and i can hear the audio. I cant figure out how to get the screen on my computer to get on the tv also. Any help with this will be appreciated. With the Mini dvi to video adapter, there is also a yellow video cord spot and not sure what to do with this. Thanks
how would i make sure my computers dvi output is on?
The MOST problematic part of your setup is the S-Video cord…
I have had several customers that didn’t get a picture with it…and I always found 1 of 4 pins on the cable bent flat inside….
And trying to bend it back just breaks the pin off…
Check both ends…if you find it’s bent, just plug the yellow cable into the yellow jack normally found UNDER the S-Video jack.
That should get you up and running.
