Ender Quartet Orson
How would I purchase a class set of books?
Hello
I am interested in purchasing a class set of books for my high school. I graduated last year and I would like to donate a class set (around 30-40) of books to my school for assigned reading. I am not a teacher so I have no idea where I could go and purchase a set for a discounted price rather than purchasing each book at 8-10 dollars each.
I’m looking to donate Speaker for the Dead by Orson Scott Card if anyone was wondering. My class read Ender’s Game last year and I decided to read the whole quartet on my own time; Speaker for the Dead was my favorite in the series.
Any suggestions would help.

He’d probably be flattered by your praise – especially since his writing has moved you to an act of giving like this.
I’d also contact local bookstores or the big book chains. It would be nice press for them if they got involved in your community by helping you do this.
At worst, you might pay Amazon or BN $8 per book – so $240 – $320, counting on free shipping. Considering your charitable donation, they shouldn’t charge you sales tax – and should be willing to consider a discount between 20% – 50%.. or an outright donation.
