I have got the book forever odd by Dean Koontz. Does it matter that i have not read the 1st two?

I got it for free and wanted to know if i would still understand it if i read it without reading the one’s before it i.e odd thomas

You can read it w/o having read Odd Thomas. However Odd Thomas is the best of the three. Odd Thomas is the first – then Forever Odd then Brother Odd. Honestly my favorite Dean Koontz character is Odd Thomas. I think you will enjoy it, but do find Odd Thomas to read later, you won’t regret it!!!
